How to get to Sheppis

Skeppsholmens Folkhögskola is located on Skeppsholmen, a lovely island, right in the centre of Stockholm. It can be reached by public transport (buses number 2, 53, 55, 65, 69 all stop at Karl XII:s Torg or Kungsträdgården; underground Blue Line to Kungsträdgården) and a refreshing short walk.

Pass the Grand Hotel and the National Gallery and cross the bridge to Skeppsholmen. On the other side of the bridge, you will find a noticeboard with a map where Skeppsholmens Folkhögskola is marked. Just follow the road up the hill. It turns left and after some 150 meters there is a big iron gate between two yellow houses. Enter and walk down towards the water. Skeppsholmens Folkhögskola is the big old house on your left.

Bus 65 to Skeppsholmen stops running before 10pm fridays and 7pm Saturdays and Sundays. After that you will have to walk past Grand Hotel and over the bridge onto Skeppsholmen where you will find a signpost. Skeppsholmens Folkhögskola lies behind and below Moderna Museet.

There is a ferry between Slussen and Djurgården during the day and early evening, which stops at Skeppsholmen on request.
It is part of the SL network which means it uses the same ticket system.

(Tip: If using the SL search function check how far the stop is from Sheppis, sometimes SL leaves you with a 2 km walk!)

If you are thinking about going by car remember that it is VERY expensive to park on the island of Skeppsholmen.
