How to get to Skeppsholmsgården
Skeppsholmsgården is located on Skeppsholmen, a lovely island, right in the centre of Stockholm. It can be reached by public transport (buses nr 2, 43, 55, 62 or 76 all stop at Karl XII:s Torg or underground to Kungsträdgården) and a refreshing short walk. Pass the Grand Hotel and the National Gallery and cross the bridge to Skeppsholmen. On the other side of the bridge, you will find a map where Skeppsholmsgården is marked. Just follow the road up the hill. It turns left and after some 150 meters there is a big iron gate between two yellow houses. Enter and walk down towards the water. Skeppsholmsgården is the big old house on your left.
Bus 65 to Skeppsholmen stops running before 10pm fridays and 7pm Saturdays and Sundays. After that you will have to walk past Grand Hotel and over the bridge onto Skeppsholmen where you will find a signpost. Skeppsholmsgården lies behind and below Moderna Museet.
Some times Djurgårdsfärjan (The ferry from Slussen to Djurgården) goes via Skeppsholmen, but this will cost extra unless you have an SL travel card.
(Tip: If using the SL search function check how far the stop is from Skeppis, sometimes SL leaves you with a 2 km walk!)

We do not recommend taking your own car to Skeppsholmen. Public
transport is better for the environment, and parking on the island
is VERY expensive
